Landscape Maintenance

Landscape maintenance is the ongoing care that keeps an installed landscape looking designed — pruning, fertilising, pest and disease management, irrigation checks, turf care, and replacement of failed material. Mother Earth Gardens maintains the landscapes it installs, and on request landscapes installed by others, under contracts with a defined corrective-response window (typically around 72 hours) and documented reporting.

What does a maintenance program cover?

Scheduled visits (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly by site), pruning and shaping, fertilising, pest and disease monitoring and treatment, turf mowing and edging, irrigation checks and adjustments, soil and mulch top-ups, and replacement of declining plant material. A proper program also includes written reporting so performance is auditable, not assumed.

Who is it for?

Corporate and institutional properties, developers handing over amenity areas, high-rise and estate common areas, and any owner who understands that installation is the easy part — keeping a landscape alive is where value is won or lost.

How does MEG deliver it differently?

The crew that maintains a MEG landscape can be the same team that installed it, so nothing gets lost in a handoff, and the maintenance experience feeds back into how we design and plant the next project. Plant health is overseen by our own in-house horticulturist, not left to a crew’s general judgment. Typical terms include a corrective-response window on the order of 72 hours and a plant warranty in the range of six months on newly installed material — set per contract.

Does MEG maintain landscapes it didn't install?

Yes, on request — though a clean handover matters. A proper transition captures the as-found condition of the planting so responsibility is clear from day one.

What is a corrective-response window?

It's the maximum time the contractor commits to responding to a reported issue with an actual site visit and corrective action — distinct from routine visit frequency. MEG typically works to around 72 hours, set per contract.
