If you move forward with Mother Earth Gardens after your consultation, the fee you paid isn't lost — it's credited directly toward your project cost. You're not paying twice to work with us. The consultation is priced to reflect real design and technical work up front, and if you proceed, that cost carries over into your contract instead of stacking on top of it.
Before any fee is discussed, we visit your site. No charge, no obligation. This is where we actually look at what we'd be working with:
We use this visit to understand your project well enough to recommend the right next step — including which consultation tier actually fits, so you're never asked to guess. Most sites don't need our biggest package, and we'll tell you that directly.
Once we understand your site, we confirm which of three consultation tiers applies. Tier is based mainly on site size and how complex the scope is — not a fixed menu you have to interpret yourself.
Best for: Smaller residential gardens and straightforward sites.
A concept design direction based on your ocular visit, a planting recommendation suited to your site conditions, and a preliminary cost range to plan against. Right for you if you have a clearly defined, modest-sized space and a fairly simple idea of what you want.
Best for: Larger residential properties or small commercial sites with more moving parts.
Everything in Tier 1, plus deeper design development across a larger or more complex site, and more detailed budget guidance across multiple zones or use areas. Suits projects where softscape and hardscape both need to be planned together, or where the site has more varied conditions to design around.
Best for: Large, multi-zone, or technically demanding sites — including corporate, institutional, or resort/hospitality projects.
Everything in Tier 2, plus full master-plan-level design direction, coordination across multiple site zones, and the technical depth needed for projects involving irrigation design, significant hardscape, or phased construction. Typically where our corporate and developer clients start.
